Gosnold Aerials have been providing a first class aerial service since the 1970's. 

The owners may have changed during that time but the service is still there. From the original founder (the late) Derek Gosnold.  The next owners (Martin) carried on the good name but I can only assume that the recession and downturn in work saw him fold it up around 2012. This is where I come in (one of Dereks early engineers/managers). Back to where Derek started it, one man giving a personal service. 

Although things have changed in the space of 40 years since those early days the biggest change in TV reception in our area happened in the early part of 2012 with the switching off the analogue TV signals and the replacement with Digital only signals. This affected EVERY household in the area that uses a TV aerial for their TV reception. For some it was their first taste of multi-channel TV. 

Technically our job is much different to those early days too. The Health & Safety of our selves and customers is paramount (no more shinning up and down the roof breaking tiles on the way), the range of equipment available  is massive with each manufacturer claiming that their bit of kit is the best, combine this with the amount of new aerial installers out there claiming that they know best, the choice for you the customer is bewildering. An added consideration that MUST be taken is the effect that the 4G mobile phone network is have on some of our new digital TV reception.

I still have available to me, the backbone of the original Gosnold Aerials team from the 70's 80's & 90's, many of us have remained in the trade so any larger jobs needing more than a single installer can be covered. Our combined years of  experience enables us to make informed decisions on what equipment is best in any particular instance.
